What's your favorite "L" word?

Hi ladies,
Tell me if I'm alone in this. I'm OBSESSED with The L Word. So much so, that I've had some soul-searching moments where I've wondered, "Could I be...? Was I MEANT to be...?" And then reruns of Miami Vice come on some cable channel and Phillip Michael Thomas convinces me otherwise. No, but seriously, The L Word is one of my favorite shows. Love me some sapphic scandal. And Sunday is the premiere show of the last and final season. Waaah! Say goodbye to Jennifer Beals' soul-shattering smile-cries. No more ass-crazy Jenny! Thank goodness the clever folk at Three Custom Color Specialists have stepped in to give me a little piece of the show to take with me (if you didn't already know, 3C is that fabulous makeup company that can custom-blend any gloss, foundation, lipstick, eyeshadow, blush--you name it--under the sun). To commemorate the final season, 3C has partnered with Showtime to create a collection of The L Word Lipsticks ($20 each)! Inspired by the show's most popular characters--Alice, Bette, Kit, and Shane (swoon)--the super-sheer, fab-on-every-skintone lipsticks will be available online at www.threecustom.com and through THE L WORD shop at www.sho.com beginning on Sunday, January 18th, at 8:59 PM...right before the sixth season premiere.

"Alice" is a shimmery, champagne-rose, "Bette" is a chic red, "Kit" is a copper-raisin shimmer (my favorite), and "Shane" is a neutral nude. Farewell, sexy ladies!

xoxo,
Tia

It's the best! I am going to miss Alice's dresses and Shane and how she makes me (and everyone else) ask that same "Am I...?" question. I just got hooked last year when I watched an entire season on demand (and then got all the other seasons from friends) but I don't want it to go!

Aww, bye bye L WORD. This is a good post. I also recently covered the L WORD collection on my site. Its cool to see how different writers cover the same topic. Tia, I love your writing style :-)

I've never seen an ep of the show (I don't have showtime), but these colors are dope! (yes, I said "dope")

I've been a fan of "The L Word" since watching the last episodes of season 3 and have been hooked. Its great that a cosmetic company created shades specifically for the show, I like Kit's shade best.

So I've never really watched the show before since I didn't have Showtime and today I thought I would give it a try and watch the 5th season on demand. I'm rather obsessed now. Great show.

I've seen a couple of episodes when I had showtime and I actually liked it. Besides from that, I think it's pretty cool for a cosmetic line to custom blend lipstick and glosses. I'm a lipglossoholic so, I'm thrilled about checking out this line.

I love the L Word and I'm so sad that this is the last season *frowning*. What is a girl to do? It's hilarious that some of us thought "Am I...?" because I sure thought about it, but when I look at the opposited gender my knees get weak *wink*. I'm actually excited about the glosses, I'll definitely purchase "Shane" gloss. I'm infactuated with nude lipsticks/lipglosses.

I'm totally Shane. The lip color and the character (for all of her flaws.)
